Ms. Khaina started her own business in 1988. She initially manufactured clothes and foam rubber, but in 1999 she switched to furniture production. She received her first loan from Bank Forum in 2002,  using the USD 3,500 to build production premises. The loan amounts increased as the business developed. The entrepreneur purchased a multifunctional woodworking machine and other equipment, and opened a furniture store. She received the last loan, totalling USD 100,000, in April 2007 to purchase the construction materials needed to build a second floor onto her production plant and to install heating and air conditioning systems. Over the six years in which she has worked with the bank, Ms. Khaina has received eight loans from Bank Forum totalling USD 215,500. Today her company produces nearly 20 items of furniture and accessories, which are sold not only in two furniture stores in Mykolaiv, but also in other Ukrainian cities.
